This description refers to material held by Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. Visual details below describe the original material.

Digital image scanned from a 35mm black and white negative of an unidentified camper working on a clay pot. Taken at the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts during the 1974 annual summer session, the camper is standing over the clay pot, which sits on a table. Both of her hands work on the lip of the pot. She is wearing two long-sleeved shirts, with the top layer’s sleeves rolled back. The table has newspapers, boxes, and other pieces of pottery. Behind her is a shelf with other clay pots.
