Black-and-white silver gelatin photographic print of ceramicist and sculptor Winnie Owens-Hart working on a pot at the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts during the 1974 annual summer session. Owens-Hart stands on the right, with a clay pot sitting on a low, four-legged stool. She’s wearing a dark color shirt and pants, with a dark color apron around her waist. She leans over the pot, working on the part of the neck opposite of the camera. The pot is inside a light color bowl with the word “CERAMIC” written on it in marker. The pottery studio is in the background. There are no inscriptions on the front or back of the photograph.
