A color digital photograph capturing children huddled under a Confederate "Stars and Bars" flag near the edge of a dock in Battery in downtown Charleston, South Carolina during twilight. Four white stars against the blue canton are captured, with four thick stripes of red and white. The dock has metal rails with wooden posts. The water is a blue where the light hits and descends to dark blue. In the distance are the lights of Fort Sumter and to the right are two spotlights in the air.
