Brass "Triangle" brooch by Art Smith; designed circa 1940s-1950s, made between 1950s and 1960s. The abstract shaped pin is made of a wired piece of brass, shaped into three triangles and flattened at some points, with a flat piece in the center. The pin is wrapped within itself approximately three times, with the ‘second triangle’ holding the flat piece of brass. The back has a bar pin place vertically. The back of the pin, in the flattened, lower right, is also stamped with Art Smith’s hallmark.
