This is the "Minetta" necklace designed and created by Art Smith. The sterling silver necklace is comprised of a pendant and a chain. The pendant is triangular, flat piece of metal with rounded ends. A wired loop is soldered from the bottom right edge, curved at the top where it is also soldered, and meets back down in the bottom right edge. An orange spherical stone is placed where the two edges of the loop meet in the bottom right, resting on a hole cut in the triangular piece of metal. The stone can move. The chain is comprised of several chain links made of sterling silver write bent in a figure-8 and soldered at each end. On the back of the pendant are two hallmarks, Smith’s signature and the metal type [Art Smith / STERLING].
