A wooden plow plane. The fence and stems of the tool are joined with wooden pegs. The stems slide through square openings in the body. The metal blade, at top, has a wooden blade edge. Wooden screws tighten to hold the stems in place at the decided width. On side of the body, vertically in relief, is [DAT / DAT / J. JONES / (illegible)]. On broad side of the body in relief is [D. A. TUTTLE]. Newer abrasions and dents have cause some minor losses, exposing unstained wood.
