A framed color oil painting titled “Tulips” by Loïs Mailou Jones. On the left is a rectangular yellow-brown woven basket. A white bag or cloth is below the basket. The objects are all on a dark brown table. The background is a dull, mint color. The artist signed, dated, and titled the painting in the front, lower right corner [Lois M. / Jones © / Paris '38] and on the back on the upper stretcher [by Lois Mailou Jones’ ‘TULIPS’ (oil) 1938].
