Source catalog description

This description refers to material held by Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. Visual details below describe the original material.

A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of Rosa Santiago standing in front of her zinc roofed house and shack in Puerto Rico. Santiago is leaning on the entrance of what is to be presumed the main house. The house and shacks appear to be offside of a road. There is vegetation all around, with possibly a Sycamore tree and a platano tree in the upper right quadrant of the photograph. There are no inscriptions in the front of the photograph. The back is signed by the photographer and has alpha-numerical annotations.
