A black-and-white photograph of Serena Williams, by Platon. The photograph depicts Williams behind an upright, flat wooden surface. Her proper right arm drapes diagonally in front of her over the wooden surface. Her proper left elbow is propped on the top edge of the surface and her cheek rests against the side of her forearm. Her long, straight hair is parted on the proper left side and she wears a serious expression on her face. She is wearing a black tank top with and a silver chain necklace. She also has two rings on her proper right ring finger. The wooden surface appears to be constructed from thick horizontal slabs of bleached wood. The background of the photograph is bright white. The photograph has a thick white border. The edition number, [5/12], is printed in the bottom left corner. The photographer’s signature and date, [Platon 19], is handwritten in the bottom right corner.
