A digital, black-and-white image of Janaya “Future” Khan addressing protesters in Hollywood, California. The image was taken by Tommy Oliver during the protests that followed the death of George Floyd. Khan is standing above the crowd and the image is taken from directly below them. Khan is shown from the knees up, in profile, facing the left edge of the image. They are speaking into a microphone held in their proper left hand and looking up and into the distance. Khan is wearing a black, short sleeve T-shirt, black pants, and has a dark bandana tied around their forehead with a knot at the front. Standing on Khan’s proper right side is a man partially obstructed by Khan’s body. He is wearing a black surgical mask, dark rimmed glasses, and a dark baseball-style cap worn backwards. In the foreground, on the left, is the top of a man’s head.
