A digital, black-and-white image of an unidentified child protester participating in a Black Lives Matter protest in Century City, California. The image was taken by Tommy Oliver during the protests that followed the death of George Floyd. The little girl is shown left of center. She is seated on an adult's shoulders towards the back of a tightly packed crowd of protesters, high above the others. She is holding the base of a pointed wooden rod attached to the bottom of a protest sign. She is holding the paper sign above her head. The front and back of the paper sign are attached to the rod with black binder clips on the top and bottom. The sign has handwritten block text on the front that reads [BLACK / LIVES / MATTER].
