A digital, black-and-white image of Janaya “Future” Khan speaking at a Black Lives Matter - Los Angeles protest against District Attorney Jackie Lacey in Downtown Los Angeles, California. The image was taken by Tommy Oliver during the protests that followed the death of George Floyd. The close-up of Khan, taken from below, depicts Khan from the chest up. Khan's eyes are closed, and they are speaking into a microphone in their proper left hand. Their proper right hand is extended in front of them with the palm turned outwards and the fingers splayed. Khan is wearing a white tank top, hoop earrings, and a gold chain around their neck. Khan’s hair is pulled back into a low ponytail. Blurred in the background is the Hall of Justice building.
