Source catalog description

This description refers to material held by Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. Visual details below describe the original material.

Needle nose pliers from Huck's red toolbox used on the set of Scandal. The silver-colored metal pliers have blue handles that curve outwards. There is white text on one of the handles which reads [PITTSBURGH]. There are metal pieces coming out of the handles. The two pieces are connected at a pivot point. There is a double leaf spring mechanism where the blue part of each handle ends. This spring allows the plier jaws to close when the handles are squeezed together. Both jaws taper into a point at the top, and they have a flat interior surface. There is engraved text where the two sides of the pliers connect. It reads [CHINA]. There are some areas of discoloration on the handles, as well as scratches and areas of discoloration on the metal parts of the pliers.
