A black and white gelatin photograph of a young woman getting dressed. Captured in the daytime, Antigua and Barbuda, 1964, an unidentified dark-haired woman adjusts the fit of her bustier slip. She is flanked by an open doorway to the left and a window to the right, beyond which is significant tropical foliage.A large bright patterned cloth hangs folded halfway across the window’s frame. On verso is the artist’s name in graphite [Hugh Bell] and a paper sticker that reads: [LEGACY / 312].
