A coiled sweetgrass basket made by Mary A. Jackson. The large shallow basket is oval in shape with a flat bottom and a wide rim that extends over the top of the basket to make it slightly enclosed. The basket features different striations of color made by contrasting the lighter palmetto binding around the darker grasses in a symmetrical pattern.
