Painting of a white house with a red/brown roof by Boykin Richardson. The front of the house is in the center of the painting and the perspective of each side of the house appears curved. The house has a gray stone foundation with an open porch and a balcony in the front. The top of a chimney is visible on each side of the house. There is a gray sidewalk in the front and on the sides of the house with green grass between the walkways. In the foreground are palm trees in black, white, and red. The sky is very colorful with blue, green, and red. The artist's initials [BR] are found in the green grass and on a path. The painted border, over the stretchers, is brown with wavy detailing. The lower edge of the canvas has been cut and is missing. The reverse is blank.
