A pair of brass loop earrings. Each individual earring is made of a single piece of brass wire bent into a circular loop shape. At the bottom of the loop, the two long ends twist together and extend horizontally. The brass is flattened along the loop and rounded at the twist, flaring into a tear drop shape at the far ends. There is a second piece of brass connected at the top of each earring. This top of this piece is flattened into a tear drop shape. The brass then becomes rounded and twists around the top of the looped piece. Soldered onto the back is a thinner silver wire hook earring back. The earrings are patinated at the twist and the back. Each earring has a hallmark stamped on the horizontal end, Smith's signature [Art Smith].
