A digital chromogenic photograph capturing two lines of girls at the annual parochial procession of San Basilio de Palenque, Colombia. Their backs to the camera, the young girls stand in two lines, one line in front of the other. In the foreground are three girls wearing bright blue dresses. Each dress has a wide blue collar edged in blue lace, short sleeves, and blue sashes tied in a bow at the waist in the back. In front of them, a line of four older girls stand wearing bright yellow knee-length dresses with ruffled skirts. Their yellow dresses have wide square necklines and short sleeves. The image was captured outdoors, with trees, buildings, and a crowd of people visible in the background. On the verso is the inscription [hos / 89].
