An acrylic painting by Claude Lawrence depicting two abstract human figures in an embrace. The figure on the left has an orange face and a greyish garment on. Their arm is outstretched to the figure on the right. The figure on the right has a yellowish face and a sky-blue-colored garment. They have a red object above their head with yellowish paint strokes sprouting from this red shape. Both figures are outlined in black and have abstract, muted grey facial features. The left portion of the background is purple, with a bright shade of blue along the right edge. The painting has deckled left and right edges. The recto is signed and dated by the artist in the lower right corner [C. Lawrence 3-01].
