An abstract acrylic painting by Claude Lawrence. The painting features strokes of black paint creating shapes and forms, including facial features, against large swaths of color. At bottom center, a profile of a face appears in white, with shade of pink above, green along the right, and bright blue along the bottom and both sides. The painting has deckled top and bottom edges. The verso features the artist’s signature on the upper center. Beneath this is the date of [4/14].
