Source catalog description
This description refers to material held by Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. Visual details below describe the original material.
Three identical black and white photographs of Sean Paul having his hair braided in the Jack's Hill neighborhood of Kingston, Jamaica. Sean Paul is pictured sitting in the foreground of the image, while a woman stands behind him braiding his hair. He is wearing a white shirt, metal chain necklaces, and a watch on his proper left wrist and a ring on his left hand. There are small cornrows on the side of his head and the rest of his hair is loose, with a comb stuck in the front part. He is holding a black phone up to his ear with his proper left hand. There is a woman standing behind him. It is possible that she is the one braiding his hair. The woman stands behind him, looking down at her hands at the back of his head. She wears a light colored shirt and denim miniskirt. The back of 2015.132.17.
