A black-and-white gelatin silver print of the interior of a barber shop. At left, a seated customer waits wearing a dark colored suit and smoking a cigarette. His legs are crossed and he is gesturing with both of his hands held out, palms up. Next to the man is a large wall mirror, in which the reflection of the back of another person can be seen. On the other side of the mirror a settee sits in front of a large window. On the window, the sign [SHINE PARLOR] is visible, backwards. An adhesive label on the verso has the photographer's printed name and contact information as well as [Shine Parlor II - 1970] in bold italicized text and the photographer's signature [Don Thompson 2014] in graphite.
