This description refers to material held by Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. Visual details below describe the original material.

This movie poster has a small still image from the film in the top half and the title displayed in large letters in the bottom section. At the top margin is text in black letters that read [RALPH COOPER]. Directly below the text is a red trapezoid shape that borders an image from the film. In the image a man lies on the ground with his head on a woman's lap. He looks up at a man dressed as a policeman standing above him. Below the image in large black text are the words [DARK / MANHATTAN]. There is a red trapezoid shape below with more black text that reads [with / ALL-STAR COLORED CAST]. There are dark colored stars scattered along the side margins of the posters.
