A 1963 appointment book belonging to James Baldwin. The dates of August 19-22, 1963 show appointments with the photographer, Richard Avendon, for "work on the book". This is most likely referring to the book, "Nothing Personal", published in 1964, which was collaboration between Avendon, who took the photographs, and Baldwin, who wrote the text.
