The oral history consists of four digital files: 2011.174.36.1a, 2011.174.36.1b, 2011.174.36.1c, and 2011.174.36.1d. Alfred Moldovan, MD remembers growing up in the Bronx and the influence of his parents, who were Jewish Hungarian immigrants. He recalls serving in the air force as a radio repairman during World War II and later attending medical school. He discusses founding the Medical Committee for Human Rights and traveling to the South to assist injured civil rights activists at events such as the Selma to Montgomery March.
