A gold and silver dress with ruffles designed by Peter Davy. The dress is made of synthetic crepe with metallic thread in a floral and leaf motif. The dress has a wide round neckline with a one a three-quarter inch ruffled gold synthetic lamé band. The long-exaggerated Juliette or gigot sleeves are gathered at the top of the armscye seam and above the elbow where the bottom and top of the sleeves are joined. The bottom half of the sleeves are fitted and end in a ruffled synthetic lamé band. Gold synthetic lamé is machine sewn on the top portion of the proper left sleeve in elongated oval panels edged with self-fabric ruffles. Three gold synthetic lamé elongated oval panels edged with self-fabric ruffles are sewn on the front of the dress at chest level. These panels come to a point at a flower on the proper right side of the dress at waist level.
