A black handbag with a floral needlepoint insert. The font of the purse is made from four panels of black synthetic leather (vinyl) surrounding a central insert of circular wool needlework. The floral needlework pattern features purple, blue, yellow, and pink flowers with green and brown stems and leaves against a black background. The entire needlepoint insert is done with the continental stitch. The purse has a metal frame and closes with a central gold 1” wide metal clasp. One panel of black vinyl creates the back of the purse and there are four rounded gold colored metal feet at the bottom. Two panels of black synthetic faille line the inside of the purse. There’s a 7” wide open pocket at the front and a 7” wide zippered pocket at the back. At the front proper left interior seam is a white brand label that reads [LAURA / USA] in gold script.
