J'ai eu l'occasion de voir dernierement ici l'interprète Porro di Borgho qui m'a dit vous connaitre ainsi que M. Michal qu'il va remplacer à Tombouctou. Avec mes meilleures salutations. 3/9-03." Translated handwritten text on verso reads, "September 3, 1903. Miss, I had the occasion here recently to see the interpreter Porro di Borgho who told me that you know also that Mr. Michal will stand in at Tombouctou. With my best greetings.".
